About Me
Becky's Little Angels is:
a state licensed home childcare center through Maryland State Department of Education OCC. My registration number is 161565. I am a professional childcare provider who has been caring for children for over fifteen years. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have attended both Frederick Community College and Mount Saint Mary's University where I majored in Elementary Education. I am a proud aunt to a number of nieces and nephews and have a two year old whom I love and want the best care for, so in that spirit, I am committed to care for your child(ren) as my own.
My goal is to offer a safe and structured environment where the children can learn through play and at their own pace and is reflected in the daily schedule. I also think it is important to teach children respect for themselves and others, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication skills. I offer a variety of tools: puzzles, games, art materials, play dough, books, music, language, and science in the pursuit of learning. Additional Facts:
I am a 37 year old wife and mom who is passionate about children! I love their curiosity and eagerness to learn! I have a close knit extended family and enjoy spending time with my siblings nieces and nephews. I also enjoy reading, walking, and movies. I started babysitting as a teenager, right here in Frederick, actually! I have taught 3-5 year olds in my church's Sunday School as well as working as a subsitute teacher for Frederick County Public Schools.
